Linkin’ Log: Culture Wars, Royal Reflections, Pipe Organs and more…

Here is a list of some of the better articles I have read this week. Enjoy!

Kevin DeYoung is always worth a read. This post is from earlier this year, but helps to clarify some of the things going on in the Evangelical world today. For what it’s worth, I’m between a 3 and a 4.

An important back-and-forth happened recently on Twitter between Kristin Kobes Du Mez (author of Jesus and John Wayne) and Denny Burk. Here is  Burk’s evaluation of the dialogue, and another good summary.

Ever wonder how to say LOL in Koine Greek? Well, now you know. You’re welcome. (This blog is a great resource for people interested in biblical languages, by the way, although it hasn’t been updated in quite some time).

Carl Trueman brings some needed context to the increasingly popular notion that all of today’s ills can be traced back to Martin Luther.

From Timothy Jacobson comes this rather lengthy yet very interesting reflection on the reign of Elizabeth II.

In the “general interest” department, check out these pipe organs!
