Camp Update: Cornhole and Carpet Ball!

While construction on our camp dorms is ongoing, there are other things happening at camp as well. Most recently, we were privileged to have friends from the US Daniel and Shanna Felice and Marcos Davila visiting us here in Brazil. While here, they put together a set of Cornhole boards and a carpet ball table. These are great additions to the attractions at the Mount Zion Baptist Camp.

Work begins on the cornhole boards.

As a friend commented online, now that we have carpet ball, we are officially a Baptist camp!

Added bonus:

On our last several trips to camp, Itacyara has been working on a stairway made out of used tires for one of the steeper portions of our trails. We mentioned to the team that we would like to build a rope railing for the stairway. Before we knew it, they had completed this project as well.
