Video Project: United by the Cross
As the quarantine tightened here in Brazil, Itacyara and some of her friends had an idea for a video project that would bring together believers from around the world. Over the next several weeks they recruited other friends – from all walks of life – to each film themselves reading a verse from a section of Romans 8. Besides Portuguese, there are people reading in English, in Spanish, in one of the Bantu languages spoken in Mozambique, and even in ancient Greek.
My own contribution, which took innumerable takes to perfect, is a brief explanation at the beginning of how believers are united through Christ’s sacrifice.
Finally, our son Michael did an outstanding job of gathering all the videos and splicing them together.
