Itacyara took this picture at night while at our recent camp retreat. You can read about that event here.For when you didn’t know life was going to be that way…I got to bring a camp report at a recent conference held by one of our churches.I also got to bring special music, together with three other guys from our church. Of course the big news from last week was the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. Here are some of the stamps from my collection featuring the iconic monarch.
These were issued by various British territories upon her coronation. Note…the good people of Gold Coast (now Togo) did not give her a mustache. That is just how the postmark happened to fall.The view from the third floor of Center for Humanities at the Federal University of Maranhão, where I’m taking classes in Philosophy.

One of my favorite parts of hosting missions trips is watching them interact with our Brazilian brothers and sisters in our local church.
