Snapshots of Missionary Life: I’m Not Old, I’m “Vintage”…and other odds and ends

It’s time for the latest pictures from our life and ministry here in Brazil. As always, you can see things as they happen by following our Instagram account.

These girls used to come to Itacyara for counsel when they were teens. It was great to be able to spend time with them and their families.

On Wednesday we went out with some friends to a restaurant that features displays of items “from days gone by”. Some of those days didn’t seem that much “gone by”…

Ok…this looks a little vintage…
…and nobody uses these anymore…
…but should these really be museum pieces?
Come on!

On to something that makes me feel not quite so old. Much younger, in fact.

While at a friend’s wedding I got to walk around with this beautiful woman on my arm.
And I do mean beautiful!
A friend of the camp had these towels embossed with the camp logo. What a great gift!
And speaking of gifts, this drinking fountain was donated to the camp by our association’s ladies fellowship. They spent a year raising money for it.
