Best of Brazil: The Curitiba Botanical Garden

Back in April we began a series of special “Best of Brazil” posts featuring some of the things we saw in our travels in southern Brazil at the beginning of the year. Our first post was about the city of Curitiba as a whole. Today I want to introduce you to what is certainly the most well-known landmark of that city – the Botanical Gardens.

The central greenhouse is surrounded by these beautiful gardens.
Inside the greenhouse there is an amazing collection of plants from around Brazil.
There are secondary greenhouses in the at the back of the gardens.
More from inside the main greenhouse.
Lots of beautiful flower beds.
Waterfalls and streams inside the greenhouse.

Truly an amazing place to visit. This was our first visit there…hopefully it won’t be our last.
