Best of Brazil: A Civil War General and a Brazilian Railway (Video)
This video from 1971 is the intersection of two of my passions: Brazil, and trains. Needless to say, I think it’s a tragedy that this railroad no longer exists. For those interested in learning more, here’s an interesting article about Col. George Church (who fought for the Union, not the Confederacy, as the narrator erroneously states) and his project.
