Vacation Bible School, with a Very Special Prize

When I was born, my Dad was pastoring the Dryden Baptist Church in Dryden, New York. We lived there until I was four years old.

Yet, despite having known me as a toddler, this church has faithfully supported our work here in Brazil for many years.

Last week was their annual Vacation Bible School, and, in response to a plea in our most recent newsletter, their missionary offerings went to our camp construction project. Of course we are very grateful for this further investment in the work here in Maranhão.

In the aforementioned newsletter, I offered copies of Missionary Max and the Jungle Princess as incentives to give out to VBS attendees. The folks at Dryden also took me up on that offer, and here is young Seth, with his hard-won prize (see banner photo).
