Introducing Our Very Own, Brand New, Theological Training Course for Church Leadership
Ever since I have been working in São Luís, we have agreed on the need for formal, non-seminary training to be available for our lay leaders. After much planning and a couple false starts, we have finally been begun our first modular course, Bible Study Methods and Rules of Interpretation, taught by our colleague, Pastor Fred.
We are using some outstanding material developed by the Bible Training Centre for Pastors, which has the dual advantage of being accessible, both in the level of teaching and cost.
I was particularly gratified to have six people from the Ebenezer congregation participating.
