Camp Update: 2025 Carnaval Retreat

This year’s Carnaval retreat at Mount Zion Baptist Camp was filled to capacity, and was an outstanding moment of fellowship and edification for the believers of our churches. Pastor Jamey Miller, of the Tuscarora Baptist Church, brought a challenging series of messages on the subject of Spiritual Maturity.

These Carnaval Retreats are a collaborative effort among our churches, and so it is a special blessing to see many people working together to make the various aspects of camp ministry happen.

Valderlene, the children’s missionary at Ebenezer, was in charge of the children’s sessions at camp.

Our water front is getting more and more use.
Does life get better than this?

One of the highlights of these retreats is a Q and A time after each service.
Happy campers.
It was a privilege to have Pastor Jamey and his son Lincoln here with us.

Here’s a short video with highlights from the retreat.

We have a team of young people who handle the social media of the camp, and they do an outstanding job. You can follow what happens there at on the camp’s Instagram feed.

I got to break out my recorder, and do this duet with a young lady who got her start at our 2018 Music Week.
