Best of Brazil: Tico Tico in the Orchestra
We’ve featured the Brazilian classic “Tico Tico no Fubá” before on this website…but never like this. Here it gets a full orchestra treatment, and not just from one orchestra, but two!
In reality, I found both and couldn’t decide which arrangement I liked better, so I included them both.
First up, an orchestra that I am having trouble identifying…but with a thoroughly enjoyable rendition of the song. If anybody knows who this is, let me know in the comments.
Next up, the same arrangement, but the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie gives it a whole new flavor. Now you can see why it was hard to choose!
