Best of Brazil: Music on the Streets of Old São Luís
One of the cool things about where I live is that you never know what kind of musical treat you might be in for as you walk down the cobblestone streets of the Old São Luís. The videos in this post are from last year, and were taken by members of the team that came to visit us from Open Bible Baptist Church in Orange City, FL. As we were showing them the historic district, we came upon the Brazilian military band playing a variety of pieces. There are some traditional Brazilian songs, but you should be able to pick out some American tunes in the mix as well.
