The Return of Ebenezer

Well…actually…Ebenezer never left. But you know what I mean. After almost four months of quarantine, messages on Facebook Live, prayer meetings via Zoom, the Ebenezer Baptist Church had its first in-person service this Sunday.

And, despite the ubiquitous masks and hand sanitizer, it was glorious.

Here are some pictures.

The night before some of our men gathered to set up lighting and test the sound equipment – unused since April.
Then we met an hour before the service to set up chairs.
We had an outstanding turnout, which included at least one visitor.

Our worship and AV teams did a great job adapting to the new circumstances.

Pastor Francivaldo brought an outstanding message from the verse of I Peter.

We appreciate your prayers as we, like most of you, have navigated the tricky waters of the pandemic. Please continue to pray as we now navigate the equally tricky waters of the return to “normalcy”.
