It’s been a busy but rewarding week since our last Snapshots post. Here are some highlights. As always, be sure to follow our Instagram account to get these updates as they happen.
We attended a seminar on how to minister to people with autism. Dr. Adriadna (center) did an outstanding job. We were especially pleased that these two ladies from Ebenezer accompanied us.The seminar wasn’t all sitting and taking notes…One of our young people, Isaque, turned fifteen this week. We can excuse his questionable choice of a soccer team, because God is truly working in his life.Another great moment as we shared an evening (and pizza) with Alisson and Yngrid, newlyweds from Ebenezer.…and yes, those are indeed French fries on that pizza on the left.I was reminded of how privileged modern missionaries are, as we were able to talk to my Dad on his birthday. The pioneer missionaries in whose footsteps we follow knew of no such luxury. While the truck was being repaired on Thursday I put some serious preparation time into this week’s Old Testament Survey lesson.

These times are always a blessing, and this year was no exception. The Setting The conference was hosted…
Our church has always been a singing church. Since the pandemic hit several weeks ago, we have been having our services online, and whatever its strengths, Zoom is not conducive to congregational music. That hasn’t stopped us from singing, however. Here is a video of four young ladies from our church, ministering to an online…
Here are some shots taken by members of the “Amigo para Amigo” group that is visiting us from Bible Baptist in Cortland, NY. No particular order here. The team with a few of the teachers from the American English Center. I’m in there too. Brad signs an autograph. Jacob on the raft. The team participates…
When we returned from our furlough in January we found several issues that needed to be cared for in the church construction project. By far the biggest and most urgent of these was the roof. Fixing this involved building up one side of the structure in order to put in clay tiles (as opposed to…
