Best of Brazil – Photos from Foz de Iguaçu

Several years ago our family had the opportunity to visit the spectacular Foz de Iguaçu waterfalls. While we’ve featured video of the Foz here before, I realized we had never shared these first-hand pictures.

Most of these were taken on the Argentine side of the falls, which offered better infrastructure, and more spectacular views.
As one American tourist was heard to say years ago…”Poor Niagara!”
Well-built walkways allow you to get “up close and personal”.
Looking down into the depths of the gorge.
Iguaçu is actually a series of waterfalls, some larger than others.
Our family at the time of the visit. This was taken from the Brazilian side.
An amazing rainbow spanning the river.

Foz de Iguaçu is high on our list of places we would like to return to someday.
