Easter Adventure
It’s rainy season here in Sao Luis, and last night it “rainy seasoned” from dusk til dawn. When we arrived at the facilities we use for our services, this sight greeted our eyes.
Water and sand, everywhere. The front of the building–right by the doorway–was also packed high with wet sand. So, while some of my friends in the US were shoveling their driveways, we were doing another kind of shoveling.
With all hands on deck, it took us about 45 minutes to get the whole thing cleared out, after which we posed for a picture to commemorate the event.
What helps us through these adventures is the knowledge that we have purchased a property, and–Lord willing–it is only a matter of time before this kind of unplanned activity will be a thing of the past.
