Brazilian Musical Interlude: White Christmas, Bossa Nova Style

Many have asked what it is like to be in Brazil for Christmas. Perhaps this song, sung by Lisa Ono (no relation to Yoko that I can tell), a Brazilian-born Japanese woman, will transmit the “same but different” quality I feel here every December 25th.

    We love to read from Matthew the Christmas story, sing carols
    and play their instruments(flute and piano). They went around
    the neighbors to carol on Christmas Day, which was a blessing.

  2. Mmmmmmmmmm…Egg Nog! Have not had that in forever.
    Interesting that you read the Matthew account. I imagine that most (including our family) read the Luke account. At least that is the one most cited in church pageants.
